4
This sheet is intended for use by a distributed team to caculate their hours of overlap in their workday for possible collaboration times.
5
6
Instructions:
7
1) Copy one of the examples and modify to fit your teams as follows
8
2) Copy a line (blue) for each city and timezone represented
9
3) Create a row (white) for each team member in that city / timezone
10
4) Ask each team member to fill out their row as follows:
11
Mark 1 in each cell below an hour if they are working and available to the team for that entire hour.
12
If they are available less than that hour, indicate by how much (i.e. 0.5 for a half hour break)
13
If the team member is meeting with someone outside the team (even if in the same company), they should leave those hours blank.
14
If they step out for a couple of hours for personal reasons (exercise, meet with family or friends) on a regular basis, they should leave those hours blank
15
5) Make sure for each column that each team members availability is summed up in the corresponding Overlap Probability cell.
